2007-2008 season

 

The Boy's Soccer Program made its debut in 1976. It is the oldest Soccer Program in the City of Fontana. The Athletic Deparment boasts the positive influence the Program has on the player's development of character, scholastics, and athletic ability.

The Soccer Program has produced many athletic and academic accomplishments. Among the many honors, the Steelers have been Citrus Belt Champions (1992, 1993, 2008, 2009), CIF Division 1 Runner Up Finalists (1991, 1993), and recipients of the Ken Hubbs Memorial Award (Jose Ruiz 07', Leo Monteon 09').

Ante Razov (Chivas USA), and Gustavo Ruelas (Santos F.C.) standout among its most famous Alumni. Many Alumni have gone to college and moved on to have successful and healthy lifes.  Some Alumni have even become coaches in their own right and continue demonstrate the Steeler Legacy of Excellence.

Former Head Coach Francisco Salcedo (1989-2006) is the longest tenured coach the program has had.
